Gorgeous Wall HangingDisplay Shelf by Phillip Lloyd Powell

Amazing wall mounted shelf hand crafted in black walnut by Phillip Powell. Signature dovetailed edges and choice walnut stand in contrast with the grass cloth backing. Sculptural shelves take up half the case piece. Shelf measures 9.5" from bottom on unit to the underside of the shelf. Prominent figure of the Bucks County / New Hope group of talented designers that began in the 1940s with George Nakashima , Paul Evans, James Martin, and Robert Whitley just to name a few.

Can be wall mounted of placed on top of a credenza or dresser. Newer cleat added to back for ease of installation.

Second picture is taken indoors and more like the color you would expect to see. The rest have been taken outdoors to highlight wood grains and sensual sculptural details.
