Midcentury Modern Ward Bennett Model 1515 Chair

For your consideration is this rare, all-original model 1515 armchair by Ward Bennett for Brickel Associates. This beautifully constructed chair is of exceptionally high quality and features a solid ash frame with original black finish and original black leather upholstery. The backrest has an elegant curve and a grid of square openings reminiscent of the work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. The arms, with a height of 24.25 inches, have a grid of four larger square openings along the sides, each square is equal in size to a grid of four squares on the backrest. The underside of the seat, also upholstered in original black leather, has the original three manufacturer's tags, including a tag dated 1987
