Original Alvar Aalto Shoe Rack Designed for the Stora Enso Building Finland

For your consideration is this rare and custom shoe rack designed by Alvar Aalto circa 1960 featuring solid birch wood slats. Custom designed by Alvar Aalto and completed in the early 60's having wonderful years of patina. We have been lucky to receive a few of these in our shop among other one of kind pieces from this amazing designer.

Coming directly from the Aalto designed Stora Enson building in Finland to your home. In original and unrestored condition with excellent provenance including the original location map of this shoe rack in the building. We think it would look great with Prouve and Perriand designs.
