When you submit an inquiry, Idealforms receives the photographs, contact information, general location and item details you provide. We use them to evaluate your items and respond.
Please avoid including people, sensitive documents or unnecessary personal information in your photographs. Sending photographs does not publish them in our inventory.
Storage and email.
We use Vercel to host the website, Supabase to store submissions privately, and Google Gmail to send inquiry notifications to Idealforms. Notifications sent to Idealforms include your contact and item details, with photograph previews and private photo links that expire after seven days. Anyone receiving a forwarded email can use its photo links until they expire. Email copies are managed separately from our submission storage; contact us for deletion requests.
Our Gmail connection requests permission to send email from the Idealforms account only. It does not request access to read the inbox. Visitors do not need to connect a Google account.
How long we keep inquiries.
We delete stored inquiries and photographs 90 days after we close an inquiry without proceeding. We keep ongoing discussions and accepted items longer while they remain relevant to our work together.
